Acoustic/Blue Collar Rock band Opal Hill Drive recently sold out their album in just four days after signing with a local indie record label.
The CD “Opal Hill Drive” sales on Amazon sold out and now the site is taking orders and will ship more soon according to the lead singer, Jedi. “We really appreciate our old and new fans for the band’s success.”
Signing with indie record label Power Media Records also gets the music in the retail stores FYE and CD Plus nationwide and in Canada, and most online sites, he said.
The band members include; Jedi Duffey– vocals, songwriting and guitar, Jason Dowdel- lead guitar, Maddy Gilbert-vocals, Drew Gilbert- drums, and Doug Tolman- bass. “We've been doing music all on our own, the hard way, for...been near twelve years. We hoped for the best, and looks like we are off and running.” Jedi said. Opal Hill Drive began back in 2000. They are currently recording their second album at Boho Digitalia Recording Studio in Salt Lake City. Jedi, who has been doing acoustic music since he was very young, is the founder and creator of the summer and winter Decompression concerts. These are all day concerts, which showcase local talent at The Ogden Amphitheater in Ogden in the spring and at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City the fall. The band’s website http://ping.fm/69FyY
